Every year Connected Events plans and manages the International Women’s Day Women + Wealth Galas. The 2024 event in Edmonton was held at the Edmonton Convention Centre. Connected Events provides full-service event planning and marketing and promotion for this landmark event, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all attendees.
The Gala featured two powerhouse speakers: Ashley Freeborn, co-founder of Smash + Tess, and Dr. Jody Carrington, renowned psychologist and speaker, both of whom shared their unique insights on resilience, entrepreneurship, and community building. Joelle Tomlinson, known for her vibrant presence in media, emceed the evening, guiding the audience through an agenda of powerful storytelling, networking, and celebration of women’s accomplishments. With a mix of thought-provoking talks, engaging discussions, and meaningful networking opportunities, the gala underscored its mission to inspire and uplift women in all stages of their personal and professional journeys.
